For those clients who are looking for a professional to take care of all the logistics and execute all of the hard work behind the scenes, we suggest our coordination service with Cathy Wood.

Often, a family member or friend offers their services to assist with the plans on the day of the event, 
sometimes, this ends up being overwhelming and the intended guest ends up being a member 
of the staff. Ms. Wood is here to assist and handle all of the pieces behind the scenes to ensure 
that the event runs smoothly.

Pre-event presentations and consultations prior to the special event.

Day of Coordination

  • Complete and Comprehensive Time-line for All Wedding Vendors
  • Coordination of all Vendors, Deliveries, and Set-up
  • Coordination of all Wedding Party Members: transportation, communication, logistics, etceteras 
  • Assistance with Pictures: Pre-Wedding and Post-Wedding coordination of all wedding party/family)
  • Bridal Emergency Kit (just in case): Kit Includes such items as stain sticks, hairspray, safety pins, a sewing kit, scissors, Static Guard, deodorant, straws, Band-Aids, snacks, etc.
  • Ensure that Ceremony has been prepped with all details: i.e programs, aisle runner, check on decor, music, ushers, flowers, officiant etc.
  • Ensure that Reception has been prepped with all details: i.e escort cards, center pieces, music, confirm catering timeline, confirm all vendor set-up, and any other amenities that need to be set-up
  • During Reception, ensure proper flow of evening, assist with grand entrance, be aware of catering schedule, toasts, dancing, etc.
  • Remain easily accessible throughout event
  • Handle any emergencies that arrive
  • Assist with distribution of final payments/gratuities to vendors at the end of the evening (no negotiation in the terms of vendor contracts will be handled by Ms. Colbert - all contracts are between client and vendors and must be confirmed prior to the event)
  • Pack up gifts/cards, miscellaneous items and prep for departure
  • Coordinate reception departure transportation

Cathy Wood started her career in entertainment as a professional ballet dancer after a scholarship to Butler University where she graduated cum laude with a BFA in Dance Performance in 2000. After graduation, Cathy danced all over the country including with San Diego Ballet, Atlantic Southeast Ballet, and as a soloist with 
Nevada Ballet Theatre locally. Most notably, Ms. Wood has been a dance captain for the largest show production in Las Vegas: Donn Arden’s “Jubilee!” for the past 5 years where she has been recognized for both her stage presence, teaching, leadership abilities, and communication skills amongst the hierarchy of management. 
In 2007, Ms. Wood launched 1st Impressions Invitations which marked the beginning of her entrance into the Wedding and Special Events Industry. Since then, Ms. Wood has worked closely with clients on not 
only stationery design, but assistance with their timelines, over all decor and color schemes, and day of coordination for their special events. 
This has allowed her the ability to listen to a client’s vision and turn that

vision into a reality.  Beginning in 2014, Harry O Productions proudly added her to the production team as Entertainment Director and Special Event Coordinator based upon her variety of skills with both Entertainers and Special Events. She has worked with hundred of brides & grooms, dancers, aerialists, show & promotional models, and specialty acts throughout her career and is dedicated to you and making your event seemless and wonderful.
